Hi Rod,

I talked to Harlan and he said that he would have a 407 Controller that
we can use for the actuator alignment. He said we will need 3 cables: 1
for the LVDT, 1 for the servo-valve LVDT, and 1 for the servo valve
command. We could also get delta-p if we wanted, but it is not
necessary for the basic control. He said that there are some spare
cables down in the seismic lab that should work. Please work with
Harlan to organize these cables.

According to Craig, Jim Erickson has an LVDT that we can use. I will
take care of making sure that it's available.

Once all the hardware is organized, I'd like to have it all connected to
make sure that everything is working. Harlan said that he will be able
to help with this and will also be able to help walk you through what
needs to be done as far with the 407.

I want to ship this equipment out with the rest of our equipment on the
23rd of September.

Thanks - Tim
