469DU Table Data File "Table.dat" Setup BKT 21-Apr-01

The values in file "Table.dat" determine the physical parameters of
the table (e.g., full scale displacement, acceleration, etc.), and
the engineering units used in the panels (e.g. "mm", "cm/s", "g").
The following are instructions on how to edit this file to customize
the 469DU controller software for a given table.

Some of the parameters in Table.dat are only used for the table
simulation and are listed in a separate section below. If you
don't use the simulation, you can ignore the values of these
parameters.

Some of the parameters are no longer used in the latest version of
469DU software (version 1.4). These too are listed below. You can
delete these parameters from the file.

Notes on file values:
1) All numbers must be decimal, not integer. The number "4.0" must
be entered as such, not as "4".
2) Units strings are denoted by single quotes. Strings must not
contain single quotes. For example, 'g's' is not acceptable.

***** parameters used for realtime control *****

displ: Displacement sensor fullscale in engineering units. The
displacement conditioner must be calibrated so that this
fullscale displacement results in 10 volts conditioned output.
This value should be the same as or close to the value of
"displRating" below, allowing for differences in engineering
		units.
		Example: 15.24 (cm)

displUnits:	Displacement engineering units name. This also determines
the "canonical" units for velocity, acceleration, and flow,
namely "xx/s", "xx/s^2", and "xx^3/s" if displacement units
		are "xx".
		Example: 'cm'

velocUnits	Velocity engineering units name. This can be different from
		the canonical velocity units name.
		Example: 'm/s'

velocCanon	Conversion factor to canonical velocity units "xx/s"
		if displacement units are "xx".
		Example: 100.0 (1 m/s = 100 cm/s)

accel: Acceleration sensor fullscale in engineering units. The
displacement conditioner must be calibrated so that this
fullscale acceleration results in 10 volts conditioned output.
		Example: 10.0 (g)

accelUnits	Acceleration engineering units name. This can be different
from the canonical acceleration units name.
		Example: 'g'

accelCanon	Conversion factor to canonical acceleration units "xx/s^2"
		if displacement units are "xx".
		Example: 981.0 (1 g = 981.0 cm/s^2)

force: Force sensor fullscale in engineering units. The force
conditioner must be calibrated so that this fullscale force
results in 10 volts conditioned output.
		Example 40.82331 (mT)

forceUnits	Force engineering units name. This also determines the
		"canonical" units for force.
		Example: 'mT' (metric tons)

massUnits	Mass engineering units name.
		Example: 'ton'

massCanon	Conversion factor to force per canonical g.
		Example: 9.2476456e-04 (0.9072 mT/ton/g / 981.0 cm/s^2/g)

***** parameters used to compute fullscale velocity and force *****

forceRating	Actuator force rating in engineering units.
		Example: 90.0 (kip)

forceRUnits	Actuator force rating engineering units name.
		Example: 'kip'

forceRCanon	Conversion factor from actuator force rating units to
		canonical force units.
		Example: 0.4535924 (1 kip = 0.453597 mT)

flowRating	Servovalve flow rating at 1000 psi in engineering units.
		Example: 180.0 (gpm)

flowRUnits	Servovalve flow rating engineering units name.
		Example: 'gpm'

flowRCanon	Conversion factor to canonical flow units "xx^3/s" if
		displacement units are "xx".
		Example: 63.09 (1 gpm = 63.09 cm^3/s)

pressRating	Hydraulic pressure rating in engineering units.
		Example: 3000.0 (psi)

pressRUnits	Hydraulic pressure rating engineering units name.
		Example: 'psi'

pressRCanon	Conversion factor to canonical pressure units "ff/xx^2" if
displacement units are "xx" and force units are "ff".
		Example: 7.030696e-05 (1 psi = 7.030696e-05 mT/cm^2)

***** parameters used for table simulation only *****
***** (other parameters above are also used) *****

displRUnits	Actuator displacement rating engineering units name.
		Example: 'in'

displRCanon	Conversion factor from actuator displacement rating units
		to canonical displacement units.
		Example: 2.54 (1 in = 2.54 cm)

****** parameters used for hydraulic on/off control and digital i/o *****

sumpDelay	Sump reset delay in seconds.

hpsOnDelay	Hps off->on delay in seconds.

hsmOnDelay	Hsm off->on delay in seconds.

hsmHiDelay	Hsm low->high delay in seconds.

dinpPolarity	General-purpose digital input polarity. The digital input
		bit definitions are:
			Bit 1: (unused)
			Bit 2: (unused)
			Bit 3: Sump Overflow
			Bit 4: Program Stop
Example: To make Sump Overflow low active instead of high
		active:	0xb

doutPolarity	General-purpose digital output polarity. The digital output
		bit definitions are:
			Bit 1: (unused)
			Bit 2: (unused)
			Bit 3: Sump Interlock Reset
			Bit 4: Program Running
Example: To make Program Running low active instead of high
		active:	0x7
