Carriage Wave Gages

Starting up the Wave Acquisition, the wave gage Deploy and Stow buttons are yellow. I found out the motors drive in the wrong direction, so I opened the DI/O to watch the state of the outputs.
At start-up, all outputs are CLEAR.
Push 'Deploy' and all "move" outputs are SET except #11. All "Down" outputs are SET except #1, #2, #3, and #16.
Push 'Deploy' again to stop motions and all move outputs go to CLEAR, and all direction outputs stay in the same state (i.e. down = set).
Push 'Stow' and all "move" outputs are SET. All "down" direction outputs are SET.
Push 'Stow' again to stop motions and all move outputs go to CLEAR, all directions stay with down SET.
The wave generator DI/O shows the states as "UP" while the acquisition is "DOWN". In any case, the motors for the carriage gages go in the wrong direction. Thus, even when getting the temposonic transducer scaling put into the calibration, nothing stops the motors when the gages reach the upper limit of travel.
I put some gain and offset on the gages to allow looking at the signals. We then used the data acquisition to record a simulated wave. This seems to work, and we used the Wave Viewer to look at the acquired channels.
