! AAReadMe.txt -- Installing Alltalk

The file Startup.alt loads the standard Alltalk
classes and creates an instance of Browser and
Workspace. You will want to edit this file if
you need a customized development environment.

To use Startup.alt, drop it on top of the
Alltalk.exe icon or simply run Alltalk.exe and
include the startup file from the listener window:

	INCLUDE 'startup.alt'

For the followers of Brad Thoen: You will want to leave out
the line in Startup.alt that includes the ViewTools directory.

Adjusting the heap size: The Alltalk.exe contains a HEAPSIZE
resource. You can edit this string with any resource editor.

News about kernel changes are in the Kernel subdirectory.
The file aaChanges.txt covers changes and fixes for the
Alltalk classes and their protocol. A similar file in
the Views subdirectory covers updates to the GUI toolkit.
