	Notes about UNR Acceptance Tests

1. We do NOT want to do ANY maximum performance tests. We only
expose ourselves to equipment damage. If we do have to
run some maximum performance tests, offer to do maximum
velocity test. This is the easiest and least likely to
damage the system. Avoid high frequency, high G testing.
This type of test just loosens bolts!

2. We don't want to run a lot of repetitive types of tests.
We don't need to run 18 sweep tests at different levels.
We don't need to run THD tests at a whole bunch of levels.
All of these tests take time.

3. Right now, we think we have somewhere between 12-13 man-days to
perform the tests as indicated in the test document. If UNR
wants to add some test, then we take out some test.

In general, the tests as shown are the tests typically done for a
Japanese customer. Unfortunately, ALL Japanese customers insist on
proving the performance curve for the system, so we always have to
do the max performance on the system. This usually points up some
deficiency that we have to jump through hoops to fix. Usually, it
is a manufacturing defect that we are having to fix. The customer
almost NEVER runs the system this hard EVER again.
