Guys,

Great News!

Adding the back pressure valve set at minimum pressure reduced the
noise almost 75% (my memory is Rick said that minimum was 30psi) I then
cranked it up to mid adjustment range, (70psi?) and the noise is gone.

I apologize for there not being back pressure on this system, when the
project started, I assumed a return back pressure valve was on the pump
which we weren't replacing. By the time the lost original project books
were finally found, I had forgotten to check my starting assumption.

3 lessons to be learned.

1. Always remember to insure return back pressure is supplied.
2. In my opinion, the adjustable valve is worth the extra money, having
a site pressure gauge to read the back pressure should also be standard.

Thanks for the fixing suggestions and help with finding the needed
parts, etc.
regards
Omar
