Keith,

Hello from Korea. Everything's going well over here. Aside from the
power supply failure, we have been having pretty good luck so far.

A couple of items need to be corrected though. We ordered
extension/converter cables for the system cables (S/V, LVDT, DeltaP, and
Accels) but I forgot to order extension cables for the MS connectors
that go into our system interface drawer on the Table Controller
console.
Fortunately, most of the existing cables had enough slack so we could
hook them up anyway. I would still like to order extension cables just
to be consistent.

If you could take a look at the print (700-001-387) for the system
interface drawer, please design and order extension cables for the MS
connectors on the back of the system interface drawer (there should be a
total of 6). Use 20AWG wire size for the cable if possible. But if you
have a hard time finding one that will work, 18 or 22 will also be ok.
All of them should have male on one end, and female on the other except
for the cable that goes to P2 for the static support section (sht 3 of
700-001-387). Chaska put the wrong connector in the box. It should
have been a MS3102A-18-1P but they put a -1S on it. So we have socket
connectors on both the box and the system cable I think the best way
around this is to order an extension cable that has pin connectors on
both end. That way, all we need to do is change the print and BOM
instead of soldering in the field. The rest of the cables are ok. They
just need extensions on them.

Make the length of the extensions like the system cable extension
length. I think they were 6 feet. I would like to have these ready by
the time Rod Larson leaves for Korea (two weeks from this past Monday)
so we have the option of having him bring it here to test.

If you have any questions or encounter any problems, please email me
about them. I will be back in the plant on the 30th.

Thanks,
David
