How to upgrade hardware from Radisys/Ariel to PowerPC 29-Nov-00

1) Remove Radisys PC from VME slots 1-5.

2) Remove Ariel DSP board from slot 6.

3) On slots 1-5, verify that the bus jumpers on Bus Grant 0-3
and Interrupt Acknowledge are PRESENT. Note that the
bus jumper pins for a slot are to the LEFT of the slot.

Note: Normally, jumpers are supposed to be removed when
a card occupies a slot. With the Ariel DSP, it seems that
the jumpers are supposed to be present. Nobody understands
why this works, but it does.

4) On slot 6, verify that the bus jumpers on Bus Grant 0-3
	and Interrupt Acknowledge are ABSENT.

5) Insert air dams on slots 3-6 (qty. 4). Leave slot 2 open.

6) Install blanks on slots 2-6 (qty. 5).

7) If there is a GresII board present, pull it out and change the
VME address via hex switches S3, S4, and S5:
	S3:	Change to "C" (from "B").
	S4:	Leave at "0".
	S5:	Change to "8" (from "0").

8) Install Ethernet cable and serial debug cable.

Edit old settings files for use in the new version:

1) Delete "dsp" section.

2) Delete window location section.
