Rod-
I tried a new micro, with the flash not installed and I still cannot change
the states of ports 4-6. The monitor says the bits changed,  but the scope
says otherwise.
By virtue of the construction of the port bits this is not possible, as if
they were stuck in either state, a true port read back would show it. There
is a rat in there somewhere. Also a dump of internal memory end at 7FH, as if
the monitor firmly believes that is where the world ends. (hint?)
any ideas?
