The commander of the 54th Luftwaffe Fighter Squadron (JG54), Lieutenant Colonel Hanness Trautloft (1912 - 1995), in the cockpit of the Focke-Wulf fighter Fw.190A-4. На фюзеляже видна эмблема 54-й истребительной эскадры — зеленое сердце («Grünherz»). On the fuselage, the emblem of the 54th fighter squadron is visible - the green heart (Grünherz). Символы внутри сердца — эмблемы трех групп эскадры. The symbols inside the heart are the emblems of the three groups of the squadron.
