(The MTS mail server complained about enclosing
k.ini so it is included at the end of this email.)
Hi Rod,
Here are some pointers for getting STEX to work
with any 469D. (I've included an INI file based on Kajima; use this to
ensure the Spec check is enabled.)
INI FILE
[DIR]
c:\mts\db
<---------------- make sure this directory exists; STEX will put all its data
in here.
[CHANNELFILE]
c:\mts\kajchan.txt
<- automatically created, but directory must exist
[CONTROLLER_IP] 148.150.62.27
<- IP of controller
PC
[DRIVE_FILE_DEF]
c:,c:,\mts\drive1.bin <- First drive spec
is for controller, second is for STEX (this example shows both on one
PC)
[ACH_FILE_DEF]
c:,c:,\mts\rec1.bin
<- Same as drive.
[USER_FILE_DEF]
c:\mts\userchan1.txt <-
automatically created, but directory must exist
FURTHER INITIALIZATION
When STEX can communicate with the controller via
ethernet, hold the shift key as STEX starts; this will cause it to ask the
controller for channel information. This information will be stored
locally so only is done once.
STEX may complain about DOF full scales; in this
case you must edit the INI file until they match. I can help with this if
you need/want.
