Finished painting the base sections of the wall with orange primer. The main sections will be orange as well, but we wanted a good primer on the concrete. There
will also be a clear coat for saltwater protection.
The first 5 photos show the wall around 2 sides of the property.
The next set of photos continues showing 2 more photos of the north side and west side of the property. The next 3 photos show the main gate now painted in black paint.
The accent white paint has not been done yet.
The next photos show the front side of the property with all the iron painted black on the outer walls. That is true for all the iron on the walls around the property. There are
photos here that show the damage to the top of the wall iron from the 2 gemilina trees that fell during Typhoon Yolanda.
The first 3 photos show the front side of the wall with orange paint and black iron decorations. The 3rd and 4th photos show the uprooted coconut tree that fell on the outside of the property.
As you can see, the strong wind came from the sea (west). That is because Flordeliz was south of typhoon and the circulation about the eye is from the west this far south of Tacloban.
The next 2 photos show the minor damage on the top of the east wall and north wall where trees inside the property fell to the typhoon winds. You can see the relative strength of the
ironwork by the small deflections due to heavy gemilina trees falling on the wall. Also, notice that there is no sign of damage to the wall itself.
The next set of photos show the back of the property and the patio by the hut. The wall panels are all painted orange. The ironwork on the 2nd floor of the hut and the
hut stairway are also all painted black now.
The next 2 rows show the details of the hut/patio area with most of the paint in place now. Also, there are now tiles on the side of the hut's 2nd floor sides.

The following photographs mainly show the painting of the wall pillars white to contrast the orange wall panels. This white decoration is extended to the bare concrete sections
of the 2 gate areas as well.
The first two rows show the general views around the property showing the white pillars.
The next set of photos show the white paint applied to the front and back gate pillars.
These photos show the walls near the hut and patio.
The last set of photos detail the nice Philippine Mahogany woodwork on the hut and the final coat of paint on the hut's 2nd floor ceiling.

The first row shows some of the fireworks we fired at our first Flordeliz Christmans event. The second row shows 2 more fireworks photos and then 2 more photographs
of the hut before the fireworks and after. The first hut photo is with flash and the second with natural light.

These photos show the visit of Hiro and Madel from Nagoya, Japan. Madel is from Isagani and married Hiro and moved to Nagoya. We met them on our tour of Japan last year
and invited them to Flordeliz when they visited her home again. Again you can see that the water at the beach is crystal clear.
AND... still waiting for final electrical hookup because Typhoon Yolanda has the electric company backed up for a few months. The city water system has been installed from Barangay
Buscayan and the CRs are now operational. The 5KW diesel generator to supply emergency power for the entire complex should be installed in the next couple of weeks.
The main house and pool have yet to be built.
